The remaining games of the current (WinterSpring) Soccer 7s season are not at the RA Centre - please check your schedule carefully to make sure that you are going to the correct field.
The old turf at the RA Centre is coming to the end of its life and we wanted to make sure it is replaced with a brand new turf at the first opportunity. The dome will come down on Thursday (a couple of weeks earlier than usual) and the replacement of the turf will begin as soon as the dome is down. Unfortunately, a few of the leagues will have to play the playoff games for the current season at one of the other outdoor turf fields in central Ottawa. You can find full details of all of the other facilities and fields below (check your schedule to see at which field your game will be played).
When the new turf is in place in a few weeks the new leagues will kick off at a nicely upgraded facility at the RA Centre with the following improvements:

We're excited to announce that our 2024 Women's league registrations have surpassed previous years and slated to be our biggest ever. As a result, we have opened more team and individual spaces on Mondays and Thursdays to accommodate demand. If you haven't done so and are interested, we suggest registering as soon as possible!

Women's Only Saturday Summer Training Sessions: Coach lead individual skills and drills. Great for players of all skill levels - beginner through advanced. The sessions take place weekly at the RA Turf Field, Saturday mornings from 930-11am and begin May 25th, running for 8 weeks (holidays excluded). Our Women's and Mens OT 7s leagues will be run under the Soccer7s banner and play at the RA Centre.

With the early summer weather upon us, we thought there was no better time to provide everyone with an update on our Spring & Summer seasons. Please see below for all information about upcoming leagues and other programming we offer.
We're back this summer with our traditional summer lineup of Coed, Women's, Men's OT and Mens 11aside leagues, Monday through Thursday. These leagues will take place at the RA Centre. All other Mens & Coed leagues will be offered through Ottawa Footy Sevens.
You can be one of the first teams back outdoors and on the pitch after the winter with our popular early spring leagues. These are the perfect warm-up for the summer season!
Spring 7aside Leagues:
Spring 11aside Leagues: These leagues are a great warm-up for those teams who play 11s in the summer or teams just looking to try out a different format.
Registration is now open for our spring and summer outdoor programs for kids. Over 700 kids joined us for our LI'l Sambas spring programs last year and this year's programs are proving just as popular. All of the programs take place outdoors on the turf field at Immaculata and we have programs available for kids from 3 to 13. Ottawa Volley Sixes offers indoor and outdoor leagues throughout the summer. Coed/Mixed, Mens and Women's leagues are offered Sunday through Thursday at various venues across the city. Public registration opens March 4th. Drop us an email at admin@ottawavolleysixes.com if you have any questions.

Winter registration for the 2023/24 indoor season is now open. We have a great lineup of indoor leagues at both the RA Centre with Soccer7s and across the city with Ottawa Footy Sevens.

As well as our adult indoor leagues, we have our popular Li'l Sambas kids programs and house leagues open for registration. The fall programs begin in early September with outdoor sessions on the turf field at Immaculata before switching to indoors at the RA Centre after the dome goes up in early October.
We've already got over 400 kids signed up for the new session, but we still have room for a few more. You can find full details of the development programs and house league on the Li'l Sambas website.
Mambeolo OG Tournament: September 9th (11am through 6pm)
Join us on Saturday, September 9, 2023 for the second annual Omer Gulder Memorial Charity Tournament. This is an event you won’t want to miss!
CO-ED | 7 A SIDE | $250 PER TEAM
Come out for a day of footy & fun! We will have food, live music, vendors, and plenty of great prizes! This is a family-friendly event.
Proceeds from the tournament will go toward two causes:
Mamboleo FC’s Newcomer Integration Program, which provides financial and social support to new immigrants and refugees through our inclusive soccer community.
MaSCA’s (Mathare Slums Community Association) new Mathare Community Centre in Nairobi, Kenya. This community centre will provide a much-needed community space that will help enhance and deliver health, education, hygiene, and social services to Mathare residents.. Pickup Soccer - One-Off Games
Looking for an extra game or just can't commit to team soccer? Check out our weekly pickup games here . Games take place at the RA Centre, Immaculata HS, Carleton and uOttawa. The leagues are on pause over Canada Day weekend, but we\ve got a couple of 90-minute pickup games each day if you still want to play.
Kids Soccer Programs at Immaculata
Footy Sevens offers development programs with kids working on ball mastery and physical literacy drills and games with our team of coaches. The programs are for kids 3 to 13 and take place at Immaculata on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays You can find full details and register at the Li'l Sambas website.
Hey everyone,
It's that time of year again and as we get close to the holiday season we'd like to inform all of our participants about a couple of charitable initiatives we're involved in.
Kitmas - Our friends at Soccer Snobs, Ottawa's Soccer Radio Show/Podcast, are spearheading an initiative called Kitmas to collect soccer jerseys (pro and amateur), balls, training equipment etc. for local children in need. Originating in the UK, it's a program designed to get soccer/sports gear into the hands of underprivileged youth in our community. We're excited to be a part of this cause and will be have a collection bin set up at the both RA Centre Dome and the uOttawa Lees Dome to receive donations. If you'd like to make a contribution you can also drop us an email at admin@ottawafootysevens.com and we can arrange for pickup/dropoff. If you'd like to learn more about the fundraiser or contribute financially, please visit this link or drop us an email for more information. The initiative will end on December 17th in order to allow enough time to distribute the equipment.
Can/Food Drive - We will be running our annual can drive (back after Covid!) and will be accepting non-perishable food items at the RA Centre Dome and the uOttawa Lees Dome for local food banks. Keep an eye out over the holidays for charity pickup games and some other events we'll be hosting. The food drive will conclude on December 23rd.
If you have a donation that is too large or you don't have the means to drop it off, just send us an email and we can arrange for a pickup. We will be accepting donations starting today and we hope to make this another great success!

Teams & Captains,
There are a few amendments to our time penalties as we kick-off our Fall leagues and products.
The following time penalties apply to offences for which a card is issued (subject to further action by the Administrative Authority). During the time penalized teams must play short.
(a) Yellow Card: 2 minutes for a Yellow Card;
(b) Red Card: The player will be dismissed/ejected and not allowed to return to the game. The team must play short for the remainder of the game with the offending player being ejected: any player receiving a Red Card will take no further part in the game and will, depending on the circumstances, be banned from a number of subsequent games or dismissed from the league entirely.
